They put in a bunch of new Colorado houses about a mile from my farm. All of them are huge, like 8,000 square feet sitting on 3 to 5 acre lots and look like the Gore mansion. About two thirds of them have real estate  for sale signs in the front yards House sales are up in south Colorado due to a 45% drop in prices from the high a few years ago and low interest rates. Sure, unemployment is running around 8.5% down here, but the Summit County real estate agents working are out buying houses.
